The purpose of this research is to explore how digitization and assimilation of digital technology has a positive or negative effect on everyday human interactions. The way the people perceive technology has a direct impact on the way that we behave to each other. I wanted to study how technology changes our interactions and lifestyles among another.
My goal with this project was to create a better understanding of human-to-human interactions and how those are shaped by the environment around us. This will give a better understanding of the world that we live in and how we can evolve as a society to develop and grow.
Who have you become?
Has your life changed?
What is a real connection?
The evolution of technology and the subsequent dependance that humans have developed is leading psychologists to study how
our humanity can be
preserved and how we define
quality connections.
The inception of this study comes from my interest in studying human relationships. The foundation of good design is influence and I believe that it all comes back down to perception of others and society, and how relationships around different subjects are formed. Broaching a topic like human relationships is extremely broad and to bring more relevance to the world currently and especially due to the circumstances in 2020, technology and digitization have become, more than ever, a larger part of our lives. The development of technology that has led to artificial intelligence has grown exponentially over that past 5 decades in a way that it has completely shaped and directed human life. With artificial intelligence observing humans, they learn and grow in order to become more effective and align with the needs that they are designed for.
How will technology change the way we live in the future? Will you consider the quality of your connections?
